January is here! 2005. It's a very exciting time and a tricky one. We are getting reaady to make big decisions for our kids. To kindergarten or not to Kindergarten. That is the question. We had some wonderful input from our speaker at the parent meeting and hope it was helpful. So often our instincts as parents are good ones. Parent conferences are coming up and we will enjoy the opportunity to discuss your little people in detail. We had some sad news as a community this month. Carl Vanderveen died. His family thanks you all for your generosity and kindness throughout this time. In his very small life, he was able to bring a community together and allow people the opportunity to give of themselves and focus on things that truly matter. That is quite a legacy for any life. We are fortunate to have the families we do and appreciate the opportunity to teach your children - as they teach us!
